The Lake Hills Neighborhood Association Annual Earth Day Celebration on April 23, 2023 is focused on what we can do to make our planet better for us all. I remember well the first Earth Day – we were going to change the world and save it! Turns out that saving needs to happen all the time and in everything we do, much like cleaning house. We will continue to show energy savings in transportation – EVs (including an electric motorcycle!), standard and electric bicycles will all be on display. We will also demonstrate how lawn and garden care can make a substantial impact by eliminating petrol-based fertilizers. 300 trees will be back with a selection of appropriate trees to take home and plant too. The kids will have hands-on activities, books from King County Library, and a list of further resources to take home.
Date: Sunday, April 23, 2023
Time: 1-3 pm
Location: Lake Hills Shopping center, 15510 Lake Hills Blvd. Bellevue, WA 98007
