This is to replace the bat walk on the 25th. I managed to squeeze into the ranger led walk a the last minute and will be able to sum up on our walk-maybe even point out a few things from the talk! We will meet at the ranger station, check out the gardens there and walk through the beltway. Lots to see if you’re careful so we will be going slow. Be prepared for mosquitos, marsh birds and maybe find likely hiding places for bats. Cameras/phones encouraged. We can turn around Lake Hills Blvd or continue around Larson Lake, depends on how people feel. And please, prepare for weather as appropriate.

One more thing: We need more walks. Suggestions for location, distance, etc. are kindly requested. We have MANY pocket parks and larger ones. How far, what to see are all negotiable – including bringing a few chairs to sit in the shade.
