It’s Voting Season!

Lake Hills Candidate Forums start Thursday!

We are planning 3 Candidate Forums for you this year.  Our goal is to help everyone vote, and to give you a chance to meet and hear each candidate!  So mark your calendars for these 3 meetings.  All will be held on Zoom, so you can watch from home while wearing your fuzzy slippers!

All meetings are from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

August 11 – Judicial Candidate Forum

September 8 – Secretary of State 

September 29 – Legislators Candidate Forum (State Senators/State Reps – 41st and 48th)

Bellevue Comprehensive Plan 2044: Building a Livable City for All

 

Bellevue is updating the Comprehensive Plan to make sure that people who live, work, and play in Bellevue…

  • Can find housing that meets their needs at a variety of affordability levels.
  • Enjoy parks and green space and recreation opportunities.
  • Have access to jobs and economic opportunity.
  • Are able to get around using all kinds of transportation options
  • And so much more!

And Bellevue wants to hear from you!  There are two meetings coming up, both at City Hall, where you can learn what’s being planned and share your ideas.  These meetings are open to anyone who cares about the future of Bellevue.

Wednesday, August 24–Access and Mobility: How can we ensure people can get to work, shops, and school easily and safely?

Thursday, September 15th–Housing: How can we provide housing that meets the needs of peole at all stages of life and income levels?

Ghosts, goblins, and adorable little mice will be back to Lake Hills Village on Saturday, October 29th!  Start planning your creepy/funny/magical trunks now!  It will be fun, as usual!
